Transformational Leadership
The Science of the Positive Transformational Leadership focuses on creating conditions for positive transformation to emerge within leaders, their organizations, and the broader cultural context they seek to impact. It is a step away from a linear, change management approach and a step toward an integrated, values-based process of seeking solutions from within the community. The Montana Institute’s leadership trainers work with clients to uncover the positive, enhance leadership skills, boost management capabilities, and invigorate entire teams to move from busy to effective.
Our Process
It begins with leaders taking the Science of the Positive Transformational Leadership Assessment and receiving a personalized report detailing their results. This gives each leader a window into their unique strengths and shadows associated with the Core Principles of the Science of the Positive. The Transformational Leadership Workshop follows and, through its facilitated lessons and activities, leaders and teams delve deeply into these findings, their implications, and a path forward.
Like many of the most valuable things in life, positive transformation cannot be forced. However, by applying the principles of the Science of the Positive and operationalizing those principles within the rhythm of the Cycle of Transformation, we can create the conditions for transformative learning to emerge in ourselves, our organizations, schools, and communities.
